Best daily check-in bots for Telegram teams in 2026
If your team runs on Telegram, finding a standup bot is harder than it should be. As of 18 October 2026, the big standup tools (Geekbot, Standuply, DailyBot, Range) do not list Telegram on their sites. What exists is a handful of dedicated bots, a few all-in-one suites with a Telegram integration, and open-source projects. Here are the options worth knowing, with prices checked on each vendor's own site.
We make Eodly, so it is first on this list. Where another option is the better fit, we say so.
Quick comparison
| Option | Works in | Free tier | Paid from | Best for |

| Automation templates (Taskade, n8n) | Post to Telegram | Depends on the platform | Depends on the platform | Teams that already build automations |
| Open-source bots | Telegram (self-hosted) | Free | You host it | Developers who want full control |
1. Eodly
Setup is one link: on your Eodly dashboard you click Connect Telegram, share the t.me link with your team, and each person taps Start. From then on the bot asks each person for an update every morning at 9:00 in their own time zone, in a private chat, and they reply with a normal message. Anyone who has not answered gets one reminder 45 minutes before your report time, and in the evening your report arrives in Telegram (if you are on the team with your own Telegram account) and on your dashboard.
If your team writes code, connecting GitHub or Linear puts each update next to the work behind it, and people who did the work but forgot to check in still count. The bot is not added to your group and does not read it.
- Price: Free for up to 5 people, no card. Team is $29 a month for up to 10 people.
- Best for: founders and leads who want the asking and the chasing off their plate, and one page in the evening.
- Less suited to: teams that want the standup posted in the group for everyone to read. Eodly keeps each check-in private and sends the lead one report.
2. Daily Standup (@AsyncStandupBot)
A dedicated Telegram bot from Zovo that runs an async standup inside a group, "without the meeting".
- Price: free for up to 5 members per group with today's report only. Pro is a one-time 150 Telegram Stars per group, for unlimited members, 7 days of history and a Friday weekly summary.
- Best for: a small team that wants the standup to live in the group chat.
- Worth knowing: it does not state any GitHub, Jira or Linear integration.
3. Corcava
Corcava is an all-in-one business suite (tasks, time tracking and more) with Telegram and Slack integrations, including an async Telegram standup tied to its own task and time data.
- Price: no free plan, 14-day trial. Pro is $9 per seat a month. Its blog says the standup bot is included; the pricing page does not say which plan.
- Best for: teams that want to move their task management and time tracking into one suite anyway.
- Worth knowing: it includes time tracking, which some remote teams want and others avoid.
4. Enji
Enji offers "team visibility without manual reporting" across Telegram and Slack, with Jira and GitHub named as integrations.
- Price: from $1,000 a month for up to 50 employees. No free tier is listed.
- Best for: larger companies buying engineering analytics, not small teams.
5. Automation templates
Taskade and n8n both publish templates that post a daily standup prompt to Telegram. They are automations rather than standup bots: you build and maintain the flow.
- Best for: teams that already run their operations on one of these platforms.
6. Open-source Telegram standup bots
The best-known open-source option is maddevsio/mad-telegram-standup-bot (Go, MIT licence, last commit November 2020).
- Best for: developers who are happy to host and update a bot themselves.
- Worth knowing: it has not been updated in years, so expect to maintain it.
How to choose
- You want the standup to happen in the group itself: Daily Standup (@AsyncStandupBot).

- You are moving everything into one paid business suite: Corcava.
- You want to build it yourself: an automation template or an open-source bot.
Questions people ask
Does DailyBot work with Telegram? DailyBot's connections and pricing pages do not list Telegram, as of 18 October 2026. The only Telegram link we found is a Zapier automation, not a standup.
Is there a free Telegram standup bot? Yes. Eodly is free for up to 5 people, and Daily Standup (@AsyncStandupBot) is free for up to 5 members per group.
Does a check-in bot need to be in our group chat? Not always. Eodly works in each person's private chat with the bot, so it never joins or reads the group. Group-based bots like Daily Standup do live in the group.
