Standup bot pricing in 2026: Geekbot vs DailyBot vs Standuply and 7 others for a 10-person team

For a team of 10, three standup bots cost nothing: Geekbot (free up to 10 users), Range (free up to 12) and Troopr (free up to 10 seats). Among paid plans, StandupBot is the cheapest at $19 a month flat, then Standup Alice at $19.90, Standuply at $22.50, DailyBot at $24 and Geekbot Basic at $25 on annual billing. Eodly is $29 a month flat for up to 10 people. At 20 people the order changes: per-user bots climb to $40 to $50, Eodly is $49, and StandupBot stays at $19. Below is what each one costs at 10 and 20 people, what the free plan leaves out, and how each charges, checked on the vendor's own pricing page on 26 October 2026.

We make Eodly, so it is on this list. Where another tool is cheaper or a better fit, we say so.

How we worked it out: the cheapest plan that fits the team, at the annual price where the vendor offers one, unless the free plan already covers that many people. Standuply's figures are what its pricing calculator showed for 10 and 20 users on annual billing. Steady charges per check-in, so 10 people checking in every working day use roughly 220 credits a month.

Geekbot vs DailyBot vs Standuply on price

  • Geekbot is free up to 10 users, so a team of 10 pays nothing. From the 11th person you pay $2.50 per participant a month on annual billing for everyone.
  • DailyBot has a free plan with no member limit, but it compiles up to 50 check-in reports a month and keeps 14 days of history. Essentials removes those limits for $2.40 per active user a month, annual, and adds AI summaries.
  • Standuply is free for 3 respondents only, then per user. At 10 users its calculator shows $22.50 a month on annual billing, a little under DailyBot and Geekbot Basic.

All three charge per person, so the bill grows with the team. They differ more on features than on price: Geekbot adds polls and surveys, DailyBot covers the most chat tools (Slack, Microsoft Teams, Google Chat, Discord), and Standuply adds planning poker and retros on Business.

Where flat pricing wins

Two tools charge a flat monthly price instead of per person: StandupBot ($19 for up to 20 active users) and Eodly ($29 for up to 10, $49 for up to 20, $89 for up to 50). A flat price costs more than a per-user bot for a small team and less for a larger one. StandupBot is the cheapest option on this page for any team between 11 and 20 people. Eodly costs more than StandupBot because it does something different: it sends one evening report and checks each update against the work in GitHub and Linear.

What the price does not tell you

  • Chat tools. Most bots here run in Slack and Microsoft Teams. If your team is on Discord, the options are DailyBot and Eodly; on Telegram, Eodly. Eodly does not run in Microsoft Teams yet (coming soon).
  • History limits. Range keeps 30 days of check-ins on its free plan and DailyBot 14 days. If you want to look back further, budget for a paid plan.
  • What you read. Most standup bots post each person's answers to a channel or thread. Eodly sends one report per evening with updates the work does not back up flagged, which matters more as the team grows.
