Daily check-ins without a daily meeting
The simplest thing Eodly does, and the foundation for everything else: it collects a daily check-in from each person without adding a meeting or a tool for them to learn.
How it works for your team
Your team checks in from where they already work. Each person sends one short message to the Eodly bot in Slack, Telegram, or Discord, on their own time. That is the entire ask. There is no dashboard for them to open, no form to fill, and no call to join. If someone forgets, Eodly sends a gentle nudge.
How it works for you
You do not read the raw check-ins. Eodly reads them, weighs them against the real work in GitHub and Linear, and writes you one page at the time you choose: who shipped, who is silent, who is slipping. The check-in is the human signal, the work systems are the evidence, and the report is the synthesis.
Why a check-in beats a standup
A daily synchronous standup costs the whole team a slice of focus every morning, and it is the first thing to break when people are busy or spread across timezones. A check-in costs one message and survives a distributed team. You get the daily visibility a standup was supposed to give you, without the daily meeting.
This is not monitoring. Eodly reads the check-ins your team chooses to send and the work systems you connect. It never does keystroke logging or screen capture, and it never will.
