Ask Claude about your team: Eodly now connects with one sign-in
You can now connect Eodly to Claude with your Eodly sign-in. Add one URL, approve the connection, and ask Claude about your team in plain language: who shipped yesterday, who has gone quiet, which blocker keeps coming back. Claude answers from your own end-of-day reports, the same sourced reports Eodly sends you each evening.
There is no API key to create, copy or paste. It works on every plan, including the free one.
How to connect
- In Claude, open Settings, then Connectors, and choose Add custom connector.
- Name it Eodly and enter
https://eodly.io/mcp. - Claude opens an Eodly page. Sign in, check what Claude is asking for, and choose Allow.
That is the whole setup. Claude now lists four Eodly tools: list your reports, open one report, list your team roster, and confirm which workspace is connected.
Only a founder or lead of the workspace can approve the connection.
Questions worth asking
A few that work well:
- "Who shipped yesterday, and who is slipping?"
- "Summarize this week's end-of-day reports and list any blockers that came up more than once."
- "Who on my team has been quiet for more than two days?"
- "Show me Tuesday's report for the engineering team."
Claude reads the reports Eodly has already built. When a report says someone shipped, that line already carries its proof, the merged pull request or the Linear issue that moved, so Claude is working from claims that were checked against the work, not from what people said about it.
What it can and cannot do
The connection is read-only. Claude can read your workspace's end-of-day reports and your team roster: names, roles and departments, with no contact details. It cannot change anything in Eodly, send messages, or reach any other workspace.
It also adds nothing to what Eodly collects. There is still no screen capture, no keystroke logging and no activity tracking. Claude sees the same report you already get.
Turning it off
In Eodly, open Settings, then the Developer tab, and look under Connected apps. Choose Disconnect and Claude loses access straight away. You can also remove the connector from Claude's side.
How the sign-in works
The connection uses OAuth, the same standard behind "Sign in with Google". You approve access on Eodly's own page, so Claude never sees your password. Claude gets a token that lasts an hour and is renewed while you keep using it; every renewal replaces the old token, and access stops after 30 days without use. Eodly stores only a scrambled fingerprint of each token, never the token itself.
Other ways to connect
If your tool takes an API key instead of a sign-in, the key-based options are still there: the hosted endpoint at https://eodly.io/api/mcp and the @eodly/mcp package on npm. The MCP server setup guide covers all three.
We are also working on getting Eodly listed in Claude's connector directory and on support for ChatGPT, so connecting becomes a single click.
